Add Variable Group

The Variable Group  Type is a Required field ().  The user selects the Variable Group  Type by Left Clicking on the Drop Down List Box (). When this is done a list of available Variable Group Types will be displayed. Should the user not Select a Variable Group  Type and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication  () that this is compulsory information.

 

 

Select the applicable Variable Group Type by Left Clicking on it in the list. Should the user want to enter a New Variable Group Type it is done by Left Clicking on the Add  Button (). When this is done the Add Variable Group Types Page will be displayed (Refer to Add Variable Group Type).

 

The Display Name is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Description for the Variable Group. Should the user not enter a Display Name and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication  () that this is compulsory information.

 

The External Code is a Free-Field Code that allows Unique Identification when comparing this collection of records to another collection.

Primarily used for Import or Export.

The External Code is not required

 

Select the Check Box should this Variable Group be used for Debt Collection.

 

Select the Check Box should this Variable Group be used for Alumni.

 

When all information has been entered the Variable Group is saved by Left Clicking on the Save Button (). Should the user want to Cancel the Add Action, Left Click on the Cancel Button ().
