Abbreviation

The Abbreviation for the Competency is a Required field ().  Should the user not enter an Abbreviation and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

Alternative Abbreviation

The Alternative Abbreviation for the Competency is a Required field (). Should the user not enter an Alternative Abbreviation and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.
 
Note:  The Alternative  Abbreviation is used for Reporting and Exporting purposes. On the Student Profile,
Academic Tab the user has the option to select the Use  Alternative Language. When this option is
selected the Alternative Abbreviation that was entered will be used for the Reporting and Exporting.

Description

The Description for the Competency is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Description for the Competency. Should the user not enter a Description and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

The Alternative  Description for the Competency is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Description . Should the user not enter a Alternative Description and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.
 
 
Note:  The Alternative  Description is used for Reporting and Exporting purposes. On the Student Profile,
Academic Tab the user has the option to select the Use  Alternative Language. When this option is
selected the Alternative Description that was entered will be used for the Reporting and Exporting.

Position

Note:  The Position  determines the order in which the Competencies are printed on the Report Card.
 
The Position for the Competency is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Numeric Value for the Position . Should the user not enter a Numeric Value and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

Save / Cancel

6. Save / Cancel
When all information has been entered the Competency is saved by Left Clicking on the Save Button (). Should the user want to Cancel the Add Action, Left Click on the Cancel Button ().
