Add Questions

Select the Applicable Category.

If the Category desired does not exist - Refer to Add Categories

Enter the Question Value.

Enter the Available Values.

 

The Answers Page generates the Combobox,Textbox or Spinedit Controls used for Answers based on the Format of the Available Values.

 

eg: ComboBox

1;Indoors (piped)

2;On site (piped not indoors)

3;On site (delivered)

4;Communal tap

5;Walking distance

6;None

7;Other

 

Will Generate a Combobox with the labels "Indoors (piped)" as first, "On site (piped not indoors)" as the second with values 1 and 2 respectively.

 

The Values 1-7 are not visible but will be the values exported to the specified Field (see Below) /Table (From Category) combination during an export.

 

Eg. Spinedit

0;999

Will allow a Spinedit Control with applicable values of 0 (zero) up to 999 (nine-hundred and ninety nine)

 

Eg. Text

null

 

Entering no value will create a textbox for answer entry.

 

Select the Position Value.

The Position Value will determine the position of the Question/Answer on the Answers Page.

Select the applicable Value Type.

 

String - is used for Text.

Integer - is used for a whole number.

Enter the Field Mapping.

 

The Field Mapping is the Field which will be populated with the Answer Value during an export on the Table defined in the Category.

When all information has been entered, the Questions is saved by Left Clicking on the Save Button (). Should the user want to Cancel the Add Action, Left Click on the Cancel Button ().
