The Phase is a Required field (). The user selects the Phase by Left Clicking on the Drop Down List Box (). When this is done a list of available Phases will be displayed. Should the user not Select a Phase and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.
Select the applicable Phase by Left Clicking on it in the list. Should the user want to enter a New Phase it is done by Left Clicking on the AddButton (). When this is done the Add Phases Page will be displayed (Refer to Add Phases).
The Display Name is a Required field (). The user needs to enter a Description for the Grade. Should the user not enter a Display Name and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.
The GradeCode is a Required field (). The user needs to enter a Code for the Student Grade. Should the user not enter a Code and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.
The user can enter a Position number (numeric value) for the Grade (This is not a Compulsory field) or make use of the Increase / Decrease button () to enter a position number. This position number will be used when Grade related information is processed to determine the order of processing.
The External Code is a Free Field Code which allows the synchronization of GradeRecords with that of an external Control - either for Importing/Exporting purposes. This is not a Compulsory field.
When all information has been entered the Grade is saved by Left Clicking on the Save Button (). Should the user want to Cancel the Add Action, Left Click on the Cancel Button ().
