Academic Year Term

1. Academic Year Term
Note:  The user could have created the Academic Year Term making use of the Add Academic Year Menu Option -
Refer to the Administration Module - Management / Setup / Academic Year.
 
The Academic Year Term is  Required field ().  The user selects the Academic Year Term by Left Clicking on the Drop Down List Box (). When this is done a list of available Academic Year Terms will be displayed. Should the user not Select a Academic Year Term and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication  () that this is compulsory information.
 
 
Select the applicable Academic Year Term  by Left Clicking on it in the list. Should the user want to enter a New Academic Year Term, it is done by Left Clicking on the Add  Button (). When this is done the Add Academic Year Term Page will be displayed (Refer to the Administration Module - Management  / Setup / Academic Terms).

Student Grade

2. Student Grade
Note:  The user could have created the Student Grade making use of the Add Grade Menu Option -
Refer to the Administration Module - Management / Setup / Grade.
 
The Student Grade  is  Required field ().  The user selects the Student Grade by Left Clicking on the Drop Down List Box (). When this is done a list of available Student Grades will be displayed. Should the user not Select   a  Student Grade  and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication  () that this is compulsory information.
 
 
Select the applicable Student Grade by Left Clicking on it in the list. Should the user want to enter a New Student Grade it is done by Left Clicking on the Add  Button (). When this is done the Add Grade Page will be displayed (Refer to the Administration Module - Management  / Setup / Grade).

Code

3. Code
 
The Cycle Code is  a Required field ().  The Cycle Code is a Numeric value. The user can enter the Code  (numeric value) for the Cycle or make use of the Increase / Decrease button () to enter a Value for the Cycle.  Should the user not Enter a  Code and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication  () that this is compulsory information.

Display Name

The Display Name is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Description for the Display Name . Should the user not enter a Display Name and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

Alternative Display Name

5. Alternative Display Name
Note:  The Alternative  Display Name is used for Reporting and Exporting purposes. On the Student Profile,
Academic Tab, the user has the option to select the Use  Alternative Language. When this option is
selected, the Alternative Display Name that was entered will be used for the Reporting or Exporting.
 
The Alternative Display Name is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Description for the Alternative Display  Name . Should the user not enter a Alternative  Display   Name and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

Official Submission

6. Official Submission
Left-Click the Checkbox Selection Icon in the event that the Cycle being altered/added is for Official Submissions with respect to your Institution's Governing Policies.

Completed

7. Completed
By Left-Clicking on this Check Box Control Icon, the cycle in question will be "Locked" and deemed to be completed at the relevant time. This will in effect disable the alteration or deletion of any Assessment's captured Mark Values in the Administration Module specific to the Cycle that has been Locked.
Only Administrators, Marks Administrators and Marks Captors are priviliged to alter this state of a cycle.

Save / Cancel

8. Save / Cancel
 
When all information has been entered the Cycle is saved by Left Clicking on the Save Button (). Should the user want to Cancel the Add Action, Left Click on the Cancel Button ().
