Add Effort

 

The Abbreviation for the Effort is a Required field ().  The user can enter a Numeric or Alpha Numeric Value for the Abbreviation. Should the user not enter an Abbreviation and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

 

 

The Display Name is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Description for the Display Name . Should the user not enter a Display Name and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

 

 

The Alternative Abbreviation for the Effort is a Required field ().  The user can enter a Numeric or Alpha Numeric Value for the Alternative Abbreviation. Should the user not enter an Alternative Abbreviation and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

 

 

Note:  The Alternative  Abbreviation is used for Reporting and Exporting purposes. On the Student Profile,

Academic Tab the user has the option to select the Use  Alternative Language. When this option is 

selected the Alternative Abbreviation that was entered will be used for the Reporting and Exporting.

 

The Alternative Name for the Effort is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Description for the Alternative Name . Should the user not enter a Alternative Name and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

 

Note:  The Alternative Name is used for Reporting and Exporting purposes. On the Student Profile,

Academic Tab the user has the option to select the Use  Alternative Language. When this option is

selected the Alternative Name that was entered will be used for the Reporting and Exporting.

 

 

Note:  The Score is the Value that is associated with the Effort that is being defined.

 

The Score is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter the Score  (numeric value) or make use of the Increase / Decrease  button () to enter a Value for the Score. Should the user not enter a Score and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

 

 

 

Note:  The From Score is the Highest  Value that will be associated with the Effort that is being defined -

The From  Score is a Required field ().  The user must enter the From Score (numeric value) or make use of the Increase / Decrease button () to enter a Value for the From Score. Should the user not enter a From Score and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

When all information has been entered, the Effort is saved by Left Clicking on the Save Button (). Should the user want to Cancel the Add Action, Left Click on the Cancel Button ().
