Display Name

1. Display Name
 
The Display Name is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter a Description for the Position. Should the user not enter a Display Name and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication  () that this is compulsory information.

Abbreviation

2. Abbreviation
 
The Abbreviation is a Required field ().  The user needs to enter an Abbreviation. Should the user not enter an Abbreviation and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication  () that this is compulsory information.

Job Title

3. Job Title
The Job Title is a Required field ().  The user selects the Job Title by Left Clicking on the Drop Down List Box (). When this is done a list of available Job Titles will be displayed.
Example : 
 
Select the applicable Job Title by Left Clicking on it in the list. Should the user want to enter a new Job Title it is done by Left Clicking on the Add Button (). When this is done the Add Job Title Page will be displayed (Refer to Add Job Title). Should the user not enter a Job Title and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

Official Code

4. Official Code
 
The Official Code for the Job Title is the Code that is supplied by the Department of Education. This is not a Compulsory field.

Save / Cancel

5. Save / Cancel
 
When all information has been entered the Position is saved by Left Clicking on the Save Button (). Should the user want to Cancel the Add Action, Left Click on the Cancel Button ().

External Code

6. External Code
The External Code is a Free-Field Code that allows Unique Identification when comparing this collection of records to another collection.
Primarily used for Import or Export.
The External Code is not required
