Year End Promotion Example

Example: Students currently in Grade 3A must be promoted to Grade 4A. The subjects currently allocated to the students should be carried over to the Next Year.

 

Select the Grade to which the Students promoted.

 

Select the Class where to the Students will be allocated.

Enter  Remarks for the Promotion.

 

The subjects, that are currently allocated to the students (in the current Academic 3J) will be carried over to the next Academic Year. Left Click the Include Subjects Check Box (). When this is done a Check Mark is displayed ().

 

Setup a Record Filter to display the students that will be promoted. For this example all students in Grade 3, Class J will be promoted to Grade 4, Class 4Q. As can be seen the Record Filter was setup to display all students that are in Grade 3, Class 3J.

 

Select all the students that should be promoted. This is done by Left Clicking on the Check Box ()to the Left of the Admission number. When this is done a Check Mark will be displayed in the Check Box () indicating that all the records have been selected.

 

 

 

Once all student records have been selected the students are promoted to Grade 4A by Left Clicking on the Process Button. When the Processing is completed the newly allocated  Grade will be displayed for the next Academic year.
