 Reserving a Media Item
A Media Item is Reserved for a Learner / Educator by Scanning or Entering the Media Item Serial Number (The Serial Number for the Media Item is entered on the Media Titles - Items Tab - Refer to Items) when the Reservations Tab has been selected. Should the user scan or enter an invalid Media Item Serial Number the system will give an indication of this:
Should the user scan or enter a valid Media Item Serial Number a new record will be created and displayed. The following information will be displayed: (i) Serial No (ii) Title (iii) Subtitle.
 Note: The system will not allow the user to Issue a Media Item which was Reserved for another
Learner / Educator. Should the user attempt to do this the System will give an
indication that the Media Item has been Reserved.
