Student Import

The user can do an bulk upload of students list that have been created in a CSV file.

 

Student information needs to be captured in the correct format for the user to be able to make use of this functionality. To get an example of the file layout select the File Upload Details button (Refer to File Upload Details.).

 

 

 

 

When the user selects the Drop Down option the screen below will be displayed. The user now has two options: (1) Browse to the location where the file is that must be uploaded or (2) Download the CSV Layout example.

 

 

When Option 2 is selected the system will download the sample CSV file to the local Downloads folder (). The user can now make use of this template to populate the file with the students information that is required for the upload.

 

When the file has been populated the user selects the Browse option to browse to the file that was created. Select the file. The Upload option will now be active. As soon as the Upload option is selected the student information will be uploaded to the system and the students that were uploaded will be displayed in the grid.
